HRD Antwerp is launching the 16th edition of its international diamond jewelry design completion- with yhis year’s theme being “A la Carte – A Culinary Journey.”
HRD Antwerp says the theme aims to “encourage designers to produce sparkling and copious jewelry, seasoned with diamonds.”
The contest is open to designers from all over the world with the only condition being that the original pieces must contain at least one carat of diamonds.
The competition winner will receive a cash price of $10,000, with four finalists each receiving a prize of $2,500.
The winning designs will be exhibited and promoted during 2015 and 2016 in Belgium and abroad, with an opening exhibition at the Belgian Pavilion at the
World Expo in Milan, Italy, from May 1 until October 31, 2015.
