U.S. singer Carrie Underwood wore the most expensive piece of jewelry at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Designed by Johnathon Arndt, the necklace is valued at $31 million.
The necklace is set with a total of 381 carats of oval, pear, marquise, and round white diamonds.
American celebrities traditionally borrow expensive diamond jewelry from leading jewelry designers and sellers for awards ceremonies.
On the red carpet, Underwood says of the necklace, “It’s heavy on my soul. I’m afraid someone is going to tackle me and steal it … It’s worth more than me."
