The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) has launched an App especially developed for the Dubai Diamond Conference 2017 which will take place on October 16 and 17.
The app for smartphones will AID delegates in connecting before the gathering, keep users up to date with the agenda and speakers, and enable them to schedule meetings with fellow attendees. They will also be able to follow event-related social media activity, view and share photos and message each other directly through the app. Users of the app will also be able to engage with live Q&A and polls during sessions.
Dubai Diamond Exchange Chairman Peter Meeus said: "We recognize that the diamond trade is a truly global marketplace spanning many time zones. We have therefore developed the DDE 2017 App to help the 350+ conference delegates and speakers better connect and interact prior to and during the Dubai Diamond Conference.”
The Dubai Diamond Conference app is available to download on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The conference takes place in Dubai's Almas Tower, the home of the Dubai Diamond Exchange and will bring together international leaders of the diamond industry ranging from African Ministers to traders, financiers and world-renowned jewelers. It will enable companies and governments in producing and consuming countries to build relationships and highlight the pivotal role that Dubai plays in the global diamond trade.
