"The jewelry collection that we will offer for sale includes both new and old style jewelry – from Art Deco to modern jewelry," said Avner Sofiov, owner of Tzoffey's. "The diamonds are forever, and they are set in a very wide range of exceptional jewelry."

Among the items to be auctioned is a platinum ring set with a 10.19-carat cushion-cut diamond pave set with brilliant-cut diamonds, a man's ring set with a cabochon sapphire weighing 7.83 carats and mounted in yellow gold and signed by French designer Reza, and an outstanding oval-cut fancy color diamond weighing 11.56 carats set in white gold.

Then there is an emerald and diamond ring, with the square-cut emerald weighing 13.91 carats and set among 3.02 carats of pear-shaped diamonds in white gold, as well as a cushion-cut ruby weighing 6.22 carats set in white gold and with white pave-set diamonds on either side are among the many other outstanding jewelry items.

Meanwhile, the signed items include a make-up box created by renowned jewelry house Boucheron set with rubies; a ball box made of gold by Van Cleef & Arpels enclosed in leather; and a gold and wood pendant made by Cartier.

All of these exceptional items, and hundreds of others, will be on display and can be touched and felt at a special viewing area that is being constructed at the Israel Diamond Exchange especially for the auction.

Without doubt, the jewelry items will provide an extraordinary visual spectacle for the thousands of people expected to pay a visit to the display and the many members of the diamond and jewelry industry from across the world who are expected to experience the auction itself.
