U.S. fashion designer Vera Wang, best-known for bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns, has launched four men's wedding rings set with double rows of diamonds that are being sold by U.S. retail jewelry giant Zale Corp.
The American designer is set to launch more men's jewelry in the coming months.
The unveiling of the men's rings, part of her LOVE collection of rings on sale in time for the Christmas sales season, follows the successful launch by Wang of a collection of diamond bridal jewelry for Zale's one year ago.
The men's wedding bands cost around US$2,000 and are made of 14K white gold and set with round-cut diamonds. Both designs include two sapphires, which are described as symbols of faithfulness and love, as well as fitting in with the adage of something borrowed, something blue.
Each ring is also engraved with the Vera Wang LOVE logo.
There are currently more than 60 designs in the Vera Wang Love collection for women, with prices ranging from US$650 to US$17,000.
