A range of leading global gem labs and technology firms are to exhibit their technology and equipment which detect synthetic diamonds at the Diamond Detection Expo & Symposium (DDES 2015) in December.
In addition, seminars and panel discussions featuring experts and trade members are also planned.
DDES 2015 is being organized by India's Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) and takes place from December 15 to 16 at the BDB in Mumbai.
The trade bodies taking part include DRC Techno, the GIA, Gemological Science International, the Gemmological Institute of India, HRD Antwerp, the International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research (IIDGR) and the International Gemological Institute.
