Israel Diamond Exchange Increases Security Measures

In light of rising numbers of terror attacks, the Israel Diamond Exchange's security system will be operating at an increased level to ensure top security at the exchange's four buildings.

In a statement signed by the IDE's Security Committee Chairman Shalom Papir, the announcement said that rules and regulation relating to the opening of fire by guards and the use of force during a security event have been refreshed.

An emphasis is being placed on increased alertness, especially regarding people, objects and vehicles in parking areas and the entrances to the exchange's buildings.

Increased numbers of patrols around the bourse buildings will be carried out with a view to identifying suspicious individuals.

The IDE's doctor and security staff are ready and prepared to provide immediate treatment in case of a security-related event that causes injuries.
