The IDE said an extra 74 places have been created in the trading hall near the entrance from the Maccabi Bridge where, until recently, there were Internet stations and notice boards.
The Israel Diamond Exchange's (IDE) already spacious trading hall has expanded even further.
The IDE has announced 74 new seats have been added following renovation work carried out during the summer vacation under the supervision of Pini Mor from the bourse's management.
An extra 74 places have been created in the trading hall near the entrance from the Maccabi Bridge where, until recently, there were Internet stations and notice boards.
The new spaces will allow easy access to hundreds of buyers and exhibitors who will participate in the International Diamond Week which was due to take place in September but which has been postponed due to the security situation and the conflict with Hamas in Gaza.
The announcement regarding the expansion of the trading hall was made by Jacob (Kobi) Korn, Acting President in the absence of President Shmuel Schnitzer. The announcement was made at a festive event earlier this year.
