Precious Stones Bourse President Shlomo Eshed Re-elected

Israel Precious Stones and Diamonds Exchange (IPSDE) President Shlomo Eshed has been re-elected for a sixth term.

In the January 14 election for the bourse president and management, the following members were also elected: Shemesh Matitayahu, Bezalel David-Avikam, Aziz Michel, Michael Domtov, Moshe Mesilati and Eyal Mishaeli.

The IPSDE was founded in 1976, and in 1980 moved to its current location in the Maccabi building of the Israel Diamond Exchange.

The president, board and committee members are elected every two years by members of the bourse at an annual meeting of shareholders.

The IPSDE is a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and of the International Colored Gemstone Association.
