Diamonds shine on stars at Golden Globes

A month ahead of the Oscars, the stars came out for the 71st annual Golden Globes ceremony – regarded as the pre-cursor to the main event. And, as usual, the female stars were adorned in diamond jewelry lent to them for the occasion by the world's leading jewelry designers.
Jennifer Lawrence, who walked away with the best supporting actress award, wore platinum jewelry by Neil Lane. Lawrence wore Art Deco platinum chandelier earrings with black spinel, onyx, black diamonds, jade and coral, four platinum bracelets set with white and black diamonds and two platinum and diamond rings with a value of $2.5 million.
Several stars chose Bulgari jewelry. They included Michelle Dockery, one of the stars of Downton Abbey, who wore Bulgari rose gold and diamond flower earrings and a Bulgari rose gold and diamond cocktail ring. Actress Jessica Chastain also plumped for Bulgari, in a platinum and diamond necklace from the jewelry house. And Naomi Watts wore a gold and diamond collar necklace along with a classic gold Serpenti bracelet from Bulgari.
Zooey Deschanel also wore jewelry created by Neil Lane, with platinum flower earrings with diamonds, pearl, and citrine, a platinum bracelet with diamonds and pearls and a platinum ring with diamonds and pearls.
Meanwhile, Julia Roberts wore Harry Winston platinum and emerald cut diamond ear studs with micro pavé and a platinum and diamond cocktail ring. And former Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon also opted for Harry Winston, wearing a four-carat platinum and round diamond ear studs, a 10-carat emerald-cut diamond ring and three stacked platinum and diamond line bracelets. The jewelry had a total value of $3.7 million, according to reports.
Best actress award winner Amy Adams wore a Lorraine Schwartz diamond pendant hung on a long gold chain, and a pendant with gold rings and earrings, also by Lorraine Schwartz.
Presenter Olivia Wilde wore an18K white gold ring set with 3.9 carats of diamonds, 4.9-carat cushion-shaped double drop earrings set in white gold, both by Forevermark, and a Maria Canale for Forevermark 8 carat diamond line bracelet.
Actress Elisabeth Moss wore Jennifer Meyer yellow gold and diamond triple-drop triangle earrings.
Meanwhile, Lupita Nyong'o wore diamond-set gold studs, and two yellow gold and diamond rings from Fred Leighton.
And Kerry Washington wore vintage jewelry from Fred Leighton including 1920s platinum and diamond earrings, an Art Deco platinum brooch with rock crystal and diamonds and a 1920s diamond and onyx platinum ring.
Cate Blanchett wore Chopard diamond earrings from the label's Green Carpet Collection, featuring 11-carat, marquise-cut white diamonds.
Margot Robbie wore a pair of Van Cleef & Arpels "Snowflake" earrings and a Van Cleef & Arpels ring.
