The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) reports that hotel rooms for participating buyers are rapidly running out for the 7th International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI).
Consequently, people registering late for the event will not be guaranteed free hotel accommodations, the IDE added.
The 2018 edition has attracted buyers from more than 20 countries, including the United States, the U.K., Germany, China and India. This includes many first time attendees, the IDE said.
This year's event will be showcasing new technology in upgrading the diamond industry. The IDE said it will unveil groundbreaking initiatives that are set to have an important impact on the diamond industry in Israel and worldwide.
The Diamond Week will also feature a section devoted to high-end diamond jewelry manufactured by Israeli diamond companies, who in addition to loose diamonds now offer top quality jewelry collections. These companies are able to take advantage of Israel’s high level of expertise in jewelry making, creativity in jewelry design and the latest manufacturing technologies, as well as the availability of diamonds and gemstones.
