Tzoffey's to tender rough diamond of almost 100 carats

Tzoffey's 1818, the Israeli-French auction house, will be tendering a rough diamond of almost 100 carats during its upcoming rough diamond tender that will be held August 30- September 3, at the company's new premises in the lobby of the Diamond Tower of the Israel Diamond Exchange complex in Ramat Gan.

"We always have a really special item at our tenders and auctions," said CEO Avner Sofiov. "This particular stone is of a good color and clarity and I expect it to draw a lot of attention and interest from the tender participants."

Sofiov noted that the viewing slots during the tender week are almost fully booked. "While we now have nine fully equipped viewing rooms at our disposal in our new premises, there is a limit to how many participants we can accommodate. We are already past the 100 mark and we're allocating the last slots in the coming days!"

The rough to be tendered includes a run-of-mine production, a wide variety of 5-10.8 caraters and many specials - rough stones larger than 10.8 carats. Viewing of the goods will take place between August 30 and September 3.
