Commenting on the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair, which takes place in the first three days of Februry, and the International Diamond Week in Israel, he said: “These kinds of events are key to the development of the diamond industry on a global basis. The WFDB encourages its member bourses to develop these concepts as it builds positive trade while opening opportunities amongst different bourse members.
"The value of networks created during trade weeks and shows like these are invaluable for the future development of the diamond trade. We operate across the world and I want to encourage bourses to develop trading platforms as they help with awareness of diamonds and our standing in the luxury goods market. I would like to take the opportunity to wish Marcel Pruwer in Antwerp and Shmuel Schnitzer in Israel all success for the coming events.”
