Members of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC NY) are to be the main participants in the US Diamond Week in Israel in March, say Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) President Yair Sahar and DDC NY President Reuven Kaufman.

But members of other World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) affiliated diamond exchanges and trade bodies will also be invited to the event, Sahar and Kaufman have agreed.

Fancy color diamond firm Leibish & Co. will be selling a 2.02-carat, Fancy Vivid purplish pink SI2 diamond at the March 5-9 Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.

The diamond comes from a 4.96-carat rough stone and the cushion-shaped diamond has been named the Leibish Pink Promise.

The Israeli diamond industry is heading back to Mumbai for the February 22-25 IIJS Signature Show for the third year in a row. The Israeli Diamond Institute (IDI) Group of Companies will once again have a national pavilion, featuring some of Israel’s leading diamond companies.

The second edition of the Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair (MJGF) started on January 6 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

The three-day show, which ends on January 8, features jewelry, diamonds, pearls and gemstones.

Along with Indian jewelry retailers, there are exhibitors from Hong Kong, Israel, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
