Calla Cut
The distinctive Calla Cut diamond is branded by Nelson Jewellery and takes its cues from nature. The lines of the cut are supposed to mimic the look of the calla lily flower. It's close to a marquise cut but with a rounder middle.

This cut is a multi-faceted hexagonal modified fancy shape. Patent granted to Diaco International. New York. There is a 6 pointed star shaped table effect in this stone. Facets are cut in the crown of the stone defining a hexagon table and a hexagram in the crown. Facets are cut in the pavilion of the stone so that the hexagonal signature of the stone is maintained.
